Sir Richard Branson once said, “If someone offers you an amazing opportunity and you’re not sure you can do it, say yes – then learn how to do it later.”
With this in mind, I was one of those people who signed up for the Oxford International Exchange Program without a moment’s hesitation. I believed this was an incredible opportunity to step out into the world, learn new things, experience new environments, and, most importantly, open my life to new people and friendships.
Throughout the two weeks in Oxford, Teacher Hakeema, Nong Yah, Khun Ben, Khun Kim, our host family, fellow travelers, and the locals took exceptional care of us—actually, more than just exceptional! I am immensely grateful to Teacher Hakeema, Dr. Ray, Nong Yah, and everyone involved in making this program a reality. Your dedication and hard work have sparked inspiration and provided valuable opportunities for Thai students with dreams and goals in life.
This program was designed to encourage self-discovery, provide inspiration, and help participants find ways to build their future. It truly fulfilled its purpose.
So, pack your bags and step out into this vast, beautiful world—it will surely bring more joy and meaning to your life.
When opportunities come your way, seize them.
