Before the feelings gradually fade with time, as the “leader” (haha), I would like to express my gratitude to the program for organizing these wonderful activities. It provided an opportunity for all participants to experience living abroad, learn languages, and exchange cultures with students from other countries. We are all aware that this was the first time the program was organized, which might have led to some obstacles and inconveniences. Nevertheless, everything has been successfully accomplished. I firmly believe and sincerely hope that the organizing committee will take these suggestions into account to further improve this excellent program. Thank you very much.
I have been back at my accommodation for quite some time, but I still can’t sleep. Personally, I don’t feel jet-lagged, but I feel a bit unsettled because, for the past two weeks, I always had my partner, @BenN, to go to school with, eat together, and even go to bed at the same time. Now, returning to living alone, it feels a bit strange. Moreover, I used to have a neighbor, @Suwat N., who always went places with me, stuck together through everything, and frequently dropped by for visits. Coming back to Thailand and no longer having those moments makes me feel a bit indescribably sad. Apart from saying goodbye to my host, bidding farewell to these two individuals was another moment that made it hard for me to hold back my tears.
At school, I would often meet @Bread, whom I regularly teased about her cat doll. Then there’s @iceeeeeeyey and @Mint, who always came to school early and went places together. Another frequent companion was @Ploy, who was my first friend in this program, and @Genesiz(Jane), my travel companion who always got the seat next to me on every flight. I also met @IZnan and @Fat, with whom I spent most of my time discussing undergraduate studies. I also got to know @Lexo, @Korn, and @SY. Even though we didn’t talk much, not a single day went by without us greeting one another. Moreover, I often interacted with seniors like @Sadara, @Amani, @Nina, and @Nur-ainee, who were always kind to me.
Thus, beyond thanking the program itself, I’d like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all participants who made this program complete. At the very least, you all created wonderful memories of England for me, making them vivid and unforgettable. Without such lovely participants like all of you, my time in Oxford might have been dull. I deeply love, respect, care for, and am grateful to have met each and every one of you.
Especially @BenN, my wonderful partner and an extraordinary “younger brother.” Without him, I can’t imagine how I would have survived two weeks in Oxford. I’m equally thankful to @Suwat N., my warm and supportive “older brother” and neighbor, for always being by my side and lending me a helping hand.
I would also like to thank the parents of the participants in this program for showing me great kindness. Many of you shared advice and helpful information that benefited both myself and my friends. Additionally, my gratitude extends to Khun Ben, Khun Kim, and, most importantly, our host family. For both Ben and me, who lived with the same host family, we are immensely touched by their exceptional care. They called us “my sons” and treated us as if we truly were their children. They also extended kindness to others, such as @Suwat N., who was frequently invited to meals or given lunch to take home. If I ever return to England, I hope to show my gratitude to them.
This might be a lengthy message, fitting for someone who enjoys connecting with many people (haha), but I wanted to share these wonderful feelings with all of you before the excitement and awe of this experience start to fade. Nonetheless, whenever these moments are brought up again, I’m sure the memories, warmth, smiles, and kindness we shared will always remain beautifully vivid.
May happiness and well-being be with you all, and I hope we meet again in the future. With love and sincere good wishes, goodbye for now.
Best regards,
