PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The IK Youth Excellence Program has been specially designed for ambitious youth who aspire to pursue greater opportunities and step confidently into an international future. It is organized through a collaboration between International Kingdom, Speak Up London, and Brighton Language College International, an institution recognized globally for its excellence.

The program provides an intensive six-month online learning curriculum complemented by a one-week fully funded study visit to Brighton, the Seaside Capital of England, celebrated for its natural beauty and globally recognized creative environment. Participants will engage with expert instructors in a structured program emphasizing language proficiency and advanced communication skills. Through interactive lessons, they will enhance their capabilities in communication, leadership, innovative thinking, and confident public presentation, while building friendships with peers from diverse international backgrounds.

Beyond the classroom, selected youth will experience the richness of English culture and have the opportunity to present their projects and achievements in Brighton, showcasing the skills and knowledge they have developed throughout the program. Experiences include a visit to the historic town of Lewes and the 11th-century Lewes Castle with its stunning hilltop views. They will also enjoy a traditional English Afternoon Tea. The program concludes with a memorable Graduation and Awards Ceremony, featuring the Best Student Award to honor outstanding achievement, dedication, and growth.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  1. Between 15 to 25 years old.
  2. Hold citizenship of Indonesia, Malaysia, or China.
  3. Have a strong interest in improving English proficiency as well as acquiring essential skills for the new generation.
  4. Must be in good physical health, possess a positive mindset, demonstrate a commitment to personal growth, and show enthusiasm for learning about diverse cultures.
  5. Display responsibility, adaptability, flexibility, and readiness to embrace new learning experiences
  6. Have no criminal record.
  7. Agree to fully comply with immigration requirements, local laws, and cultural etiquette in the United Kingdom.
  8. Not have previously received a full scholarship from the UK government.

Participant Selection and Placement

  • Number of Participants: A total of 25 students from each participating country will be selected to join the program.
  • Application Review (Essay, Portfolio Assessment, and Video Introduction): All applicants are required to submit an essay, a portfolio of relevant achievements, and a video introduction as part of their application. The selection committee will evaluate these submissions based on quality, originality, and alignment with the program’s objectives.
  • Shortlist Procedure: A shortlist of candidates will be maintained. If a selected participant fails to confirm enrollment by the deadline, their seat will be offered to the next candidate on the list. This ensures that all available seats are filled by qualified participants.
  • Language Placement: Prior to the start of the program, all participants will complete a short language placement test. The results will be used solely to group participants into the appropriate level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced), ensuring that every student learns in the most suitable environment.

PROGRAM DURATION

The program will run for a total of 6 months, from October 2025 to April 2026, and is divided into three phases:

  • Phase 1: October 2025 – January 2026 Document preparation and visa application. The organizers will issue all necessary documents and provide full assistance throughout the visa application process.
  • Phase 2: 18 September 2025 – 12 April 2026 Participants will engage in online learning sessions led by expert instructors, focusing on communication, leadership, innovative thinking, and confident presentation skills.
  • Phase 3: 20-27 April 2026: Participants will travel to Brighton, United Kingdom, where they will join international peers for in-person learning, present their final projects, and receive a certificate of completion in a graduation ceremony.

Course Curriculum and Schedule

  1. Online Class Duration
    • The program runs from 18 October 2025 to 12 April 2026, spanning six months. Participants will engage in an average of 20 hours of study per month (approximately 5 hours per week). All classes will be conducted online via Zoom, providing a structured and interactive learning environment designed to maximize skill development and knowledge acquisition.
  2. Schedule
    • The program is divided into two groups to accommodate different learning preferences:
    • Group 1 (Classroom 1) – Weekend Sessions Held every Saturday and Sunday. Time: 10:00 – 12:30 (UK Time) / 16:00 – 18:30 (GMT+7)
    • Group 2 (Classroom 2) – Weekday Sessions
      Conducted twice a week on Tuesday and Friday.
      Time: 13:00 – 15:30 (UK Time) / 19:00 – 21:30 (GMT+7)
  3. Class Placement
    • All participants will complete a placement test before the program begins. The results will determine whether a student is placed in the Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced level. According to their level, each student will be assigned to the most suitable class and scheduled for either Weekend Sessions or Weekday Sessions. This process ensures that every participant learns in an environment that matches their English proficiency and maximizes their progress.

Lecturers

The program will be taught by a team of experienced educators and specialists, each selected to match their area of expertise with the relevant course modules. To ensure the highest quality of learning, several lecturers will be assigned across the sessions, allowing participants to benefit from diverse teaching styles, professional insights, and practical experience.

Some of the program’s instructors, such as:

1.Matthew has been teaching for more than a decade, in Spain, Vietnam and London. A graduate of Trinity College Dublin and a CELTA-qualified teacher, he has particular experience in Business English and exam preparation classes.

2.Layla is a CELTA-qualified teacher with particular experience in Business English. She holds a first-class degree in French and Arabic from the University of Exeter, and has lived and worked in France, Lebanon and Jordan.

3.Andrew is an experienced DELTA-qualified teacher, who also holds the Cert IBET (International Business English Training). A graduate of the University of Central England, he has worked extensively as a teacher of General and Business English in Brazil, Italy and the UK.

One-Week Exchange Program in Brighton (April 20–27, 2026)

The main activities during the exchange program for selected participants will include:

  1. Homestay
    Experience Participants will stay with carefully selected host families located in safe and welcoming neighborhoods, allowing them to experience authentic British daily life.
  2. Morning English Lessons (09:30 – 12:30)
    Every morning, participants will join English classes with international peers from various countries. These sessions will focus on practical communication skills, teamwork, and confidence-building.
  3. Afternoon Cultural Excursions (from 13:30 onwards)
    In the afternoons, participants will take part in excursions and activities at various cultural and historical sites, such as:
    • Brighton City Tour. Explore Brighton, widely known as The Seaside Capital of England, and enjoy free time for leisure and personal exploration
    • Lewes Town Visit. Discover the charm of Lewes, a small historic town nestled in the South Downs. Lewes is renowned for its cobblestone streets, traditional English houses, local shops, cozy pubs, and lively weekend markets.
    • Lewes Castle Tour. Visit this Norman castle built in the 11th century, standing proudly on a hilltop overlooking the town and surrounding countryside. The castle houses exhibitions on the history of East Sussex and serves as a historical witness to the Battle of Lewes in 1264, a turning point in English political history.
  4. Showcase & English Afternoon Tea
    Participants will present projects and works developed during their six-month learning journey. They will also experience the tradition of English Afternoon Tea, a cultural art of relaxation featuring tea, sandwiches, scones, and pastries served in a warm and elegant setting.
  5. Graduation Ceremony
    At the end of the program, participants will attend a graduation ceremony, receive certificates of completion, and celebrate achievements. Outstanding students will be honored with The Best Student Award, followed by a group photo session in academic gowns.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE

PROGRAM FEE

The following fees apply to selected participants for the six-month program:

  1. The confirmation fee is USD 155 / IDR 2,550,000, payable once upon acceptance to secure the participant’s seat in the program.
  2. The tuition fee is USD 465 / IDR 7,650,000 per month, covering the six-month online language and skills-based courses designed to develop communication, leadership, innovative thinking, and public presentation skills.
  3. Upon completion, all 25 selected participants will be awarded a full scholarship covering all expenses for the UK exchange program, ensuring no additional costs are incurred.

Note: Program fees are structured to allow participants to pay in monthly installments, making it more flexible and manageable.

Scholarship Coverage (Full Scholarship for All 25 Selected Participants)

All students who successfully complete the 6-month course will be awarded a scholarship to participate in the exchange program in Brighton, England. The scholarship covers:

  1. Round-trip airfareRound-trip airfare
  2. Pre-departure orientation for all participants
  3. Placement test fee (English proficiency assessment)
  4. Tuition fees for English language and skills classes with international peers
  5. Accommodation with a carefully selected host family (twin room basis)
  6. Daily meals (breakfast and dinner)
  7. Learning materials and handouts
  8. Travel insurance
  9. Exchange Kit souvenir from International Kingdom
  10. Travel card for transportation within Brighton
  11. Participation in all scheduled program activities
  12. Excursions and cultural visits in London and surrounding areas

Expenses Not Covered

  1. UK visa application and passport
  2. Personal expenses

Note for Applicants Not Selected for the Scholarship:
Applicants who are not selected for the scholarship but still wish to participate in the program can proceed as follows:

  1. Send an email expressing your intention to join the program in English to support@internationalkingdomthailand.com
  2. Upon approval and confirmation, pay the monthly tuition fee of USD 465 and the UK program participation fee of USD 4650.

Important: Participation will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis according to the order in which all required steps and payments are completed.

Application Process

Step 1: Complete the Online Application Form

Step 2: Submit an Essay

  1. Topic: “How Can This Program Shape Your Future Success”
    • Essay must be written in English.
  2. Format requirements:
    • Microsoft Word document
    • Length: 300–600 words
    • Font Times New Roman, size 14
    • Save the file as PDF before uploading.

Step 3: Upload Required Documents in the Google Form

  • Portfolio/Resume/CV (with a formal headshot, no hats or sunglasses)
  • English proficiency test result (if available)
  • Essay file (PDF format only)
  • Short self-introduction video 
  • Each file must be named: FirstName-LastName (using the applicant’s real name)

Selection Timeline

  • Application Period: 6 September – 4 October 2025 (please submit applications by 23:59 UK time).
  • Announcement of Final Selected Participants: October 7, 2025.
  • Confirmation Period : October 7-13, 2025.
  • Program commencement (online) 18 October 2025-12 April 2026.
  • Program in Brighton : 20 – 27 April 2025.
