PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The London Cross-Cultural Leadership and Public Speaking Summit is a transformative international experience designed to prepare emerging leaders from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and China to thrive in a globalized world. Held in London, this two-week summit blends rigorous leadership training, expert-led communication workshops, and immersive cross-cultural learning. Participants will explore what it means to lead with confidence, speak with impact, and collaborate across cultures.
This program is organized by International Kingdom in partnership with Speak Up London, a premier training institution based in the United Kingdom. It is specifically tailored for professionals, university students, and aspiring change-makers seeking to strengthen their leadership voice, grow their global network, and develop the soft skills needed in today’s international landscape. Through interactive sessions, site visits, and peer collaboration, participants will:
- Master public speaking techniques to present with clarity and confidence
- Develop leadership qualities rooted in empathy, adaptability, and strategy
- Expand their worldview through cultural exploration and reflection
- Engage with global institutions, including University College London (UCL) and other leading universities
- Network with international peers and build lifelong connections across borders

Program Highlights
- Develop Deep Leadership Skills: Participants will receive intensive training from expert instructors both before departure and during the program in the UK. The training covers key topics such as public speaking, building powerful teams, and leveraging technology for effective leadership.
- Experience British Culture Firsthand: The program offers the opportunity to live with a host family, allowing participants to immerse themselves in British lifestyle, traditions, and local culture.
- Grow as a Global Leader: The program encourages participants to embrace new perspectives, shift their mindset, and practice thoughtful reflection on themselves and others.
- Build a Global Network: Engage in cross-cultural exchange with individuals from diverse countries and professional backgrounds, fostering mutual understanding and long-lasting international connections.
- Explore Cultural and Educational Landmarks in London: Participants will also have the
opportunity to visit some of London’s most iconic cultural and academic sites.
Qualifications for Applicants
Applicants must:
- Be aged 18–45 years old
- Hold citizenship of Indonesia, Malaysia, or China (including those residing abroad)
- Demonstrate good English comprehension
- Be in good physical and mental health
- Show interest in leadership, communication, and cultural exchange
- Have no criminal recordBe committed to attending all phases of the program

- Not have previously received a UK Government full scholarship
NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS
A maximum of 15 participants from Indonesia, Malaysia, and China will be selected for the London Cross-Cultural Leadership and Public Speaking Summit. (Those selected will receive an invitation letter for leave or time off to participate in the program.)
PROGRAM DURATION
Selected participants will go through three main phases, including visa preparation and full program participation:
- Phase 1: September – October 2025: Document preparation and visa application. Participants will receive all necessary documents from the organizers to support their visa submission. Full assistance will be provided throughout the process. Once selected participants confirm their spot, the program team will share the full schedule, including orientation sessions and visa document preparation. All necessary guidance and support will be provided to ensure a smooth process.
- Phase 2: 13 September – 12 October 2025: Online leadership and personal development training. Participants will attend interactive online classes every Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM (GMT+7) via Google Meet. The course covers core leadership principles and personal growth strategies in preparation for the international program.
- Phase 3: 24 November – 7 December 2025: On-site program in London, United Kingdom. Activities will be held at the Speak Up London. Participants will engage in in-person training, cultural experiences, and networking opportunities in an immersive international setting.

MAIN ACTIVITIES DURING THE EXCHANGE IN THE UK FOR SELECTED PARTICIPANTS:
- Participants will stay with carefully selected host families located in safe neighborhoods.
- Every morning, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, participants will join workshops on public speaking, along with lessons on leadership and personal development at Speak Up London.
- Selected participants will attend international classrooms to study Business English, focusing on communication in business contexts, such as workplace communication, negotiation, email writing, presentations, and meeting management, enabling effective communication in business situations.
- In the afternoon, starting at 1:30 PM, participants will engage in activities at various locations, including famous museums in London, participate in events, and visit the world-renowned University College London, with opportunities for sightseeing as well.
- Attend the graduation ceremony to receive certificates upon completing the program.

During the program, participants will explore some of London’s most iconic, educational cultural institutions, and visit top UK universities:
1. British Museum: One of the largest and most famous museums in the world, located in the heart of London. It houses a collection of historical artifacts from around the globe.
2. National Gallery: An art museum with classical paintings by renowned artists like Leonardo da Vinci, Van Gogh, and others.
3. Science Museum: Showcasing exhibits on space exploration, medical advancements, and technology history.
4. Natural History Museum: A must-visit for natural science enthusiasts, featuring fossils, marine life, and Earth’s history exhibits.
5. University College London (UCL): A globally renowned institution and a member of the prestigious Russell Group, UCL is known for academic excellence and impactful research across disciplines.
6. Regent’s University London: Located in beautiful Regent’s Park, Regent’s specializes in business, arts, and social sciences with a teaching approach closely linked to real-world application.
7. Queen Mary University of London: Situated in East London, Queen Mary is recognized for its research excellence and diverse, inclusive academic community.
Note: In the first week, participants will visit UCL. In the second week, they will visit either Regent’s University or Queen Mary University, depending on the final schedule.

THE ABOVE EXPENSES FOR SELECTED PARTICIPANTS COVER
- International Airfare from the participant’s country of residence to London, United Kingdom.
- Orientation and Placement Fees
- Tuition and Training Comprehensive instruction in leadership, public speaking, and business communication, including: 12 hours per week of internal workshops and 4 hours per week of international classes
- Accommodation homestay with a local host family in London (twin room), including breakfast and dinner.
- Public transport card valid for unlimited travel within London Zones 3–4 for the entire program duration.
- Learning Materials: Textbooks, course handouts, and supplementary study materials required for training.
- Educational and cultural visits to selected museums, cultural sites, and university campuses as part of the academic itinerary.
- Graduation Ceremony.
