Oxford Intensive Exchange Program

English is currently the most widely spoken language and is the language spoken by the world’s 1.45 billion people. Learning English is therefore important in this era of globalization. International Kingdom (Thailand) has collaborated with Oxford International Study Centre, a leading English language institute in Oxford, England, to organize an intensive English language learning program with native speakers that focuses on developing learners’ potential to become leaders, experiencing the world, learning how to live abroad, learning about different education systems, developing personalities, and fostering courage, challenges, and self-discovery. Experience Oxford University, a world-renowned university that excels in academics, research, and exploration. Talk and exchange ideas directly with students from Oxford University about achieving success and approaches to further study in England, as well as travel to gain new experiences, visit nature, ancient architecture, open up your worldview, and interact and make friends with host families and international friends to build a network for the future that will lead to a broader view of the world and a further vision.

International Kingdom (Thailand)

It is an international organization that collaborates with language schools and leaders in ASEAN and Europe. The main objective is to develop the potential of Thai youth to become top leaders on the international stage through learning various foreign languages to understand global knowledge and prepare for global networks in the era of globalization. It also supports Thai and international youth in developing their brain potential through learning Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), which is a process that allows youth to understand themselves and bring out their best potential, adjust their attitudes, thoughts, and beliefs towards themselves and towards the world around them, as well as leadership skills to practice expressing themselves, knowledge skills through the analytical process, and self-reliance. International Kingdom has also collaborated with leading organizations from many countries to organize cultural exchange projects abroad to exchange knowledge, experiences, society, language, and culture, which will create an understanding of diverse cultures and differences in society that can be further developed in the future and prepare them to step into the door of opening a wider worldview, leading to the creation of communities, societies, and countries for further progress.

Oxford International Study Centre (England)

Oxford International Study Centre is based in the heart of Oxford and holds the highest accreditation from the Independent School Inspectorate, UKVI’s authorised education regulator, and is an accredited member of COBIS (Council of British International Schools), the European Council of International Schools, the European Association for International Education and the Swiss Group International School, whose professionals are members of Independent Education Consultants and the Association of Education Consultants.

Applicant Qualifications

Age between 15 – 35 years old
Be Thai nationality
Have basic English
Be in good health
Have a good attitude, ready to develop yourself and learn various cultures
Be responsible, flexible, adaptable and ready to learn new things
Have no criminal record

Number of project participants

20 people (The selected persons will receive an invitation letter for taking leave or requesting a vacation to join the project)

What you will experience and learn in the project

Intensive English language study and international youth activities and study tours to various states in England
Experience Oxford University and join activities with students from world-class universities
Promote self-development, adjust attitudes, thoughts, beliefs about yourself and the world around you, as well as leadership skills
Get good opportunities and networks internationally and learn about different cultures to expand your knowledge for future careers

Project participation period

The selected applicants will have to submit their UK entry permit documents and complete 3 sessions of activities.
Period 1: November 2023 Prepare documents and submit your UK entry permit documents
Period 2: 7 weeks of basic adjustment and language preparation Every Saturday-Sunday of November-December 2023 (Online English class & IELTS class) Every Saturday and Sunday, 9:00-11:00 AM. Classes start from 18 November 2023
Period 3: January 7-March 31, 2024 Participate in activities at Oxford International Study Centre and Oxford University, UK

Costs for selected participants to participate in the 5-month market project (2 months of online learning and 3 months of activities in Oxford, England)

Project participation confirmation fee of 35,000 baht
Course fees, activity fees, accommodation fees, field trip fees, etc. in England total 395,000 baht

Round-trip airfare from Bangkok to London
Orientation fee for participants and parents
Travel insurance
Host family accommodation in Oxford
Travel back and forth between host family and school
Two meals (breakfast and dinner)
Online English language course fees
Language course fees at Oxford International Study Centre and participation in activities at Oxford University
Excursions and trips to London
UK entry permit fees

Pay the program fee of 133,000 THB (this fee covers everything except airfare and UK entry permits)
Prepare English test scores such as IELTS, TOFEL, etc.
Please note that this special quota is limited to 10 people only.

Main activities during the exchange in England

Cultural activities: Visit museums, historic sites such as Oxford Castle, the Bodleian Library, art galleries and local festivals to introduce participants to British culture.
Visit prestigious colleges such as Christ Church, Balliol or Magdalen where participants can explore the campus, attend lectures and engage in conversation with fellow students and lecturers.
Join a guest speaker, such as a local historian, author or academic, for talks or workshops on topics related to British culture, history and literature.
Prepare for international study: Organise workshops, leadership workshops, debates and public speaking.
Take a guided city tour of Oxford to learn about its rich history and architectural wonders.
Cultural workshops: Workshops on traditional British activities such as tea tasting, stone bread making or cricket.
Theatre and performances: Take participants to see a play or musical. Activities at renowned theatres such as the Oxford Playhouse or the Sheldonian Theatre
Excursions Plan day trips to nearby cities or attractions such as Bath and London to give participants a taste of British heritage
Closing Ceremony at Oxford University: Attend the closing ceremony and receive a certificate at Oxford University after completing your programme
