Leadership Skills Exchange Program in Manchester, UK – 2024
One of the key traits of successful individuals is leadership—a driving force that steers lives
in unique and new directions. Leadership stems from the synergy between an individual’s
inner power and the support of people, followers, or their environment, enhancing the
momentum towards growth and expertise.
The UK LeaderTalk Exchange Program 2024, a collaboration between International
Kingdom (Thailand) and New College Group (UK), focuses on developing participants into
competent leaders while broadening their horizons. Participants will explore new ways of
living, experience different educational systems, refine their personality, and build courage
and self-awareness. The program is held in Manchester, a city renowned for its global
contributions, including being the birthplace of the first computer and home to world-famous
football clubs Manchester United and Manchester City.
Through this program, participants will not only form connections with peers from various
industries but also gain international networking opportunities, develop a broader vision, and
strengthen their global leadership potential.

- Intensive leadership training led by experienced instructors, both online and in
the UK. - Immersive cultural experiences through living with host families in the UK.

multicultural exchanges, enhancing career prospects.
Maximum Participants:
20 individuals (Selected candidates will receive an invitation letter to apply for leave or vacation to join the program.)
Program Schedule:
Phase 1: August 2024 – Visa application and travel preparation.
Phase 2: September 7 – October 20, 2024 – Online leadership skills course (28 hours).
Participants will receive a certificate after course completion.
Phase 3: November 3 – November 17, 2024 – Activities at New College Group, Manchester,
UK.
Classes on Saturdays and Sundays, 7:30–9:30 PM (Bangkok time).
Phase 1 Details:
After all selected candidates confirm their eligibility, the program will send a schedule for orientation and visa application preparation.
Phase 2 Details:
The online leadership course is taught by experts like Dr. Alyas Hayee-Saard, with
credentials including:
Experience as a specialist in American Studies, member of Thailand’s
Lawyers Council, and involvement in UNDP and UNHCR projects.
Law graduate from Chulalongkorn University, Chevening Scholar, and
exchange student in New Zealand.
Phase 3 Details (in Manchester):
- Morning classes (Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM): Leadership and public
speaking at New College Group. - Afternoon activities (Mon–Fri, 1:30 PM onwards):
- Collaborations with Salford University and University Academy 92.
- Visits to IWM North Museum (9/11 exhibits), Manchester Museum (Tigon),
and Science and Industry Museum (first computer). - City tours, including Manchester Christmas Market.
- Full-day trip to York.
- Football stadium tours and Premier League match attendance (schedule
permitting).

Accommodation:
Participants will stay with selected host families (1–2 participants per family) in safe
neighborhoods. Those preferring hostels may request this at an additional cost.
Note: For those who wish to stay in a hostel (additional charges apply), please inform the staff.

Applicant Qualifications:
- Aged 18–45.
- Thai nationality or residing in Thailand.
- Basic English proficiency.
- Good health.
- Strong interest in leadership development.
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and openness to learning.
- Clean criminal record.
