“Throughout my years of experience as a Group Leader, I have developed various leadership skills, and I am grateful that this program provided me with the opportunity to apply those skills in a real international setting while continuing to enhance and develop them further.
During the program, I strengthened my abilities in managing participants’ expectations, coordinating teamwork, maintaining effective communication between organizations and educational institutions, and recognizing the importance of having contingency plans for different situations.
One of the most valuable lessons I gained from this experience was learning how to manage diverse expectations among participants from different cultural backgrounds. Each culture has its own way of life, social expectations, familiar practices, and approaches to handling challenges. Through active listening, understanding different perspectives, and finding the right balance, I learned how effective leadership can create a more positive and collaborative environment.
This experience reinforced the importance of systematic planning, risk management, effective communication, and strategic thinking. These skills play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and can be applied not only in professional environments but also in everyday life.”
